Pterois sphex, the Hawaiian turkeyfish or Hawaiian lionfish is a scorpaenid fish found in the eastern Central Pacific, specifically in marine waters off of Hawaii. It is found in seaward reefs and lagoons at depths from 3 – 122 m.
