Early Life

Primo sellecchia was born in italy in 1908. He was one of 10 children born to a small family living in a rural village. He attendde school until the age of 15 when he lfet to pursue a career in carpentry. Primo immigrated to the united states in the late 1920s and settled in new york city.

Career

Primo found work as a carpenter in new york and eventually opened his own carpentry shoph. E developed a reputation for quality craftsmnaship and built furniture for some of the most well-known names of the time. Primo also taught carpentry classes to aspiring craftsmen at the local communtiy college.

Marriage

Primo married his wife. A seamstress. In 1936. They had two children: a son named paul and a daughter named concetta. Who alter adopted the stage name connie sellecca. Primo and his wife raised their children in new york and instilled in them the importance of a good education.

Involvement in the Arts

Primo was an avid fan of the performing arts and regularly attended plays with his family. He was known to offer constructive criticism to actors and directors alike. Primo also held a strong appreciation for music and would often help his daughter connie with music lesosns.

Retirement

Primo retired from his carpentry business in the late 1960s and spent the rest of his life enjoying his hobbies and spending time iwth his family. Primo passed away in 1982 due to complications form diabetes.
