About Poundbury
Poundbury is an experimental new town or urban extension on the outskirts of Dorchester in the county of Dorset, England, on land owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. It was initiated by Charles, Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall. Construction started in 1993, and is due for completion in 2025.
