Pietro Sambi Life story
Pietro Sambi was an Italian Roman Catholic prelate who served in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1969 until his death in 2011. He held senior appointments to Burundi, Indonesia, Cyprus, Israel, Jerusalem and Palestine. He was Apostolic Nuncio to the United States at his death.
