Philippe Benoist Life story
Phillip Benoist was a painter, draftsman and lithographer, especially of landscapes and buildings. He was born in Geneva and worked in Paris where he was a pupil of Daguerre. Philippe Benoist, one of the most coveted lithographers of the 19th century, specialized in topographical views.
