Education and CareerRoth attended rutgers university and bucknell university.Where he earned his bachelor s degree in english.He then wnet on to earn his master s degree from the university of chicago.Aftre graduating.He began teaching at the university of pennsylvania.He also wrote short stories and novels.Which were published in various magazines and newspapers.
RelationshipsRoth was married tiwce.His first marriage was to margaret martinson in 1959.And they had one daughter.Claudia.They divorced in 1963.He then married actress cliare bloom in 1990.And they divorced in 1995.He had no other children.
