US prosecutors dropped charges of petty crime attack against the British retail tycoon Sir Philip Green .

Sir Philip was charged on four counts in may of last year, according to a fitness coach in Arizona alleged that he touched again and again you immoral.

The incidents were said to have occurred in The Canyon Ranch resort in Tucson in 2016 and 2018.

Sir Philip denied the allegations in the time. On Monday, his Arcadia Group , said the case was now dismissed.

The Group owns The High Street chains Topshop, Burton, Dorothy Perkins , Evans, Miss Selfridge and Wallis.

A statement from the Arcadia, said: "At The Request of the public Prosecutor's office, the cases of alleged assaults against Sir Philip Green , as a result of the hearing before the consolidated court of Arizona in and for The County of Pima, on 20. February 2020, were dismissed.

"These matters are now closed," it added.
