Petrus Borel Life story
Joseph-Pierre Borel d'Hauterive, known as Petrus Borel, was a French writer of the Romantic movement. Born at Lyon, the twelfth of fourteen children of an ironmonger, he studied architecture in Paris but abandoned it for literature.
