Pem Pem Norgay Life story
Pem Pem Norgay, the eldest daughter of Tenzing Norgay, (who made the first ascent of Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953), at home. Tenzing was born in Thame in the Everest region of Nepal in 1915 but moved to Darjeeling to find work. Norgay Tenzing died in 1976.
