Pavel Svedomsky Life story
Pavel Aleksandrovich Svedomsky was a Russian painter and the brother of another artist, Alexander Svedomsky. Pavel Svedomsky studied first in the Düsseldorf Academy of Arts, then in Munich under Eduard von Gebhardt and Mihály Munkácsy.
