Paulo Paim Life story
Paulo Renato Paim is a Brazilian steelworker turned politician. He served as a federal deputy from Rio Grande do Sul for the Workers' Party from 1987 to 2002. On 2002, he was elected Senator from the same state. Re-elected in 2010, he is currently the only Afro-Brazilian Senator.
