Paulina Porizkova Life story
Paulina Porizkova is a model and writer. Born in Czechoslovakia, Porizkova and her family would relocate to Sweden, and she would begin modelling in Paris at the age of 15. In 1984, she became the first Central European woman to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Ric Ocasek , lead singer of the 1980s US band The Cars , died at the age of 75 years.
