Paul Tong Viet Buong (Phaolô Tống Viết Bường) Life story
Paul Tống Viết Bường was a martyr of Vietnam, born in his days as a military officer under Minh Mạng. He followed the Paris Missionary Society, beheaded by the king on October 23, 1833. He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1900. In 1988, he and 116 others were canonization by Pope John Paul II.
