About Parque Rodó
Parque Rodó is a laid-back residential area centered on its namesake green space, which has a boating lake and vintage amusement park rides. Also in the park, the National Museum of Visual Arts features 20th-century Uruguayan paintings and a sculpture garden. Nearby, Ramírez Beach is lined with bars and steakhouses overlooking the Río de la Plata. The Teatro de Verano stages outdoor rock shows and plays in summer.
