About Paranthropus
Paranthropus is a contested genus of extinct hominins that lived between approximately 2. 6 and 0. 6 million years ago from the end of the Pliocene to the Middle Pleistocene. Also known as robust australopithecines, they were bipedal. Paranthropus is sometimes considered synonymous with Australopithecus.
