About Our Sons


Donald Barnes (Zeljko Ivanek) is stricken with AIDS and languishing in a San Diego hospital. His boyfriend, James Grant (Hugh Grant), tells his businesswoman mother, Audrey Grant (Julie Andrews), the tragic news and asks her to accompany him to Arkansas to find Donald's homophobic mother, waitress Luanne Barnes (Ann-Margret). A curfew is in force, in the Iraqi capital Baghdad after a second day of clashes between anti-government demonstrators and the security forces.

Last year, the southern Iraqi city of Basra was rocked by weeks of protests against the unsafe Drinking Water , power outages, unemployment, and corruption. Government offices, including the main land days building were set on fire.
