Nigeria is the first presidential election with A Generation of voters, the only known democracy will take place the next weekend.

But a democratic era has delivered for Young People ? Some 18-to 20-year-old in Lagos and Abeokuta spoke with the BBC:

If you register it got to the elections, I, to vote. But I'm not going to lie, the registration was so stressful, and we had to wait for Two Days to The Card .

It's not that I was interested in politics, but I just want to say, Nigerian politics is in a mess. To me, I just don't feel it is sincere. At the end of The Day we will all know who will win, so why vote? It's not like your vote really counts.

I Am a fashion designer, but I also help the peanuts to My Aunt to sell. I finished the school and I hope to fight, to the study of Mass Communication , but I Am , in the University, with the few money I have.

I'm an Orphan - my mother died in 2013 from a terrible disease, and my father died in 2005 - so you can't support me.

It is important for me to take part in the elections, in order to help, a good leader for The Nation . To know the type of person we have to vote, that will help us and give us a compassionate nation.

By not voting you're not going to help The Nation . We have to come together and make our nation proud and strong.

In This Life , education is The Key , and I would like to pay the government, our teachers, more and better equipment. It should also be better Transport and roads good enough for cars and for people to walk along.

I started as a Laundry girl in the last year, after finishing higher school. I don't have to do the Laundry, my job is to collect the dirty Laundry and The Clean supply to be replaced.

I'm with 15,000 naira ($41; £32) a month. It is not enough, but I have to keep going.

I would like to join, the Air Force , because I want to be proud of me. I love the uniform, and there is respect. I pray to God that it works.

I didn't want to go and register to vote. I'm not interested in politics. For me, it's all about The Business and to earn money. Now I need to build up money for my business, this is it.

This Country needs to create more and better jobs. There are so many graduates without a job and something should be done for you.
