d. 2007 Lancaster, CaliforniaOronzo Abbatecola (Italian, American; 1912-2007) was born in Ceglie, Puglia, near Bari. He became proficient as a stage designer and painter at an early age. He gravitated towards and was taken “under the wing” of Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, founder of the Italian Futurism movement.
