Odo Of Deuil Life story
Eudes of Deuil or Odo, Odon was a French historian and participant of the Second Crusade. Born at Deuil to a modest family, he became a monk and was a confidant of Suger, abbot of Saint-Denis. He took part in the Second Crusade in 1147, and served as the chaplain of Louis VII on the expedition.
