About Novokuznetsk
Novokuznetsk is a city in Kemerovo Oblast in southwestern Siberia, Russia. It is the second-largest city in the oblast, after the administrative center Kemerovo. Population: 537,480; 547,904; 549,870; 599,947. It was previously known as Kuznetsk until 1931, and as Stalinsk until 1961.
