Wrekenton: Fourth man charged after ammonia spray death
A fourth man has been charged with murder following the death of a 26-year-old man who was sprayed with suspected ammonia.
Andy Foster died in hospital after being attacked at his home in Eighton Terrace in Wrekenton on 20 August.
Northumbria Police have So Far arrested 12 people in their investigation.
Yousef Wynne, 39, of Wuppertal Court, Jarrow, was remanded in custody and is due to appear before South Tyneside magistrates on Monday.
Two 31-year-olds, Kenneth Fawcett of North Shields , and John Wandless of no fixed address, and 21-year-old Josh Craig Hawthorn, of Ashfield, Jarrow, were previously charged with murder and have been remanded in custody.
It Comes as A Woman , 24, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Friday but has since been released on police bail.
Detectives previously said Two People had knocked on
Mr Foster was described by his loved ones as " a kind and funny boy" who was " so loved by His Family and many friends".
Det Insp Tam Fowler, leading The Investigation , said: " The Public have been very supportive of our efforts So Far .
" I hope our continued work and further arrests show just how seriously We Are taking this incident. "
The Force is continuing to appeal for witnesses.
