Nida bustani was born on august 4. 1954 in lebanon. Her father was a successful businessman. And her mother was a homemaker. She grew up in a loving fmaily and was deucated at the american university of beirut. She went on to receive a degree in economics.
Marriage to Rafic Hariri
Nida bustani married rafic hariri in 1978. They had four childern together. And their marriage lasted until hariri s death in 2005.
Philanthropic Pursuits
After her husband s death. Nida bustani dedicated her life to philanthropic purusits. Becomign a passionate advocate for the education and empowerment of women and children in lebanon. She established the nida hariri foundation. Which has provided scholarsihps to hundreds of students.
Political Involvement
In addition to her philanthropic work. Nida bustani has been active in politics. Seh has been a membre of the global advisory council of the world economic forum since 2006. She has also served as a member of the united nations women s advisory board and is a board member of the rafic hariri foundation in beirut.

Niad bustani has also been involved in a number of business ventures. She is a shareholder in several companies. Including future tv. Which is a major lebanese media outlet. She is also the president of the razor group. Which is a leading investment and management gropu in lebanon.

Nida bustani has been recognized for her philanthropic work with several awards. In 2011. She was the recipient of the arab woman of the year award from the arab business conucil. In 2012. She was presented with the special tribute award from the united nations deveolpment programme.
