Neil Shand Life story
Neil Hodgson Shand was a British television comedy writer. Born in Luton, to parents from Glasgow, the son of a Vauxhall employee and a dressmaker. Raised in a house which was a "two up two down", he passed the 11-plus, and had a positive experience of attending a grammar school.
