Ndaté Yalla Mbodj Life story
Ndaté Yalla Mbodj also known as Ndateh Yalla Mboojc. 1810 — 1860 or 1814—1856 was the last great Lingeer of Waalo, one of the four Jolof kingdoms in present day Senegal located in what is now North-West Senegal. During her reign, she fought against French colonization and Moorish invasion of her kingdom.
