Nathaniel Reed Life story
Nathaniel "Nat" Pryor Reed was an American environmentalist and political aide. He was Assistant Secretary of Fish, Wildlife and Parks at the United States Department of the Interior who co-wrote the Endangered Species Act of 1973 and is credited with stopping the use of DDT.
