Nathan Deal Life story
John Nathan Deal is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 82nd governor of Georgia from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he was a U.S. Representative from 1993 to 2010. Deal was first elected to Congress as a Democrat in 1992 to represent Georgia's 9th congressional district.
