Nadira Naipaul Life story
Nadira, Lady Naipaul, is a Pakistani journalist and the widow of novelist Sir V. S. Naipaul. She was born in Mombasa, Kenya. Her brother Ameer Faisal Alavi was a Pakistan Army two-star general, assassinated in 2008. She worked as a journalist for Pakistani newspaper The Nation for ten years before meeting Naipaul.
