Mutsu Ryoko Life story
Countess Mutsu Ryōko was a Japanese noblewoman and humanitarian. She was a member of the Japanese Red Cross Society and the wife of Count Mutsu Munemitsu. She was called "the flower of Washington society" for her beauty and intelligence.
