Muthulakshmi Reddi Life story
Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy was an eminent medical practitioner, social reformer and Padma Bhushan awardee in India. She was the first female legislator in India. Muthulakshmi Reddy was appointed to the Madras Legislative Council in 1927.
