About Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve
The Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve in eastern Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, was part of the farm owned by Jacobus and Cornelia Erasmus. They operated a dairy farm here in the early 1800s. Carel Erasmus purchased the farm in 1877 and built a house there; the house was later converted into a chapel.
