About Montignac
Montignac is a town in southwest France. It's known for Lascaux Cave, with Cro-Magnon–era paintings of large animals. Nearby are Lascaux II and The International Center for Cave Art, detailed replicas of the cave complex. Le Thot Park is a museum and virtual reality space exploring prehistoric wildlife and art. On the River Vézère, the town has medieval streets and a market selling the area's famed black truffles.
