Mikhail Velikanov Life story
Mikhail Dmitrievich Velikanov was a Soviet military commander involved in the Russian Civil War. He was born into a Russian peasant family in Nikolskoye, present-day Ryazan Oblast. He fought in World War I and joined the Red Army in February 1918.
