About Midostaurin
Midostaurin is a multi-targeted protein kinase inhibitor that has been investigated for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome and advanced systemic mastocytosis. It is a semi-synthetic derivative of staurosporine, an alkaloid from the bacterium Streptomyces staurosporeus.
