Mel Sharples Life story
Melvin Emory Sharples, better known as "Mel", was a character in the long-running sitcom, Alice. He was played by Vic Tayback, who reprised his role from the 1974 movie, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, which inspired the long-running CBS-TV series Alice.
