Max Bumgardner Life story
Max Andrew Bumgardner was an American football defensive back. After earning his B. S. in Physical Education from the University of Texas in 1948, he was drafted to play professionally by the Chicago Bears, but was sent to the Detroit Lions. He played for just one year.
