Vice-Admiral Sir Maurice Swynfen Fitzmaurice, KCVO, CB, CMG was an officer of the Royal Navy. He served in a number of campaigns in Africa, being twice mentioned in despatches, and had risen to the rank of captain prior to the outbreak of World War I.
