Matthew Edward Patricia is an American football coach who is the senior defensive assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He has served 15 non-consecutive seasons as an assistant coach with the Patriots, including six seasons as the team's defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017.
