Matsudaira Norikata Life story
Count Matsudaira Norikata was the 8th and final daimyō of Okutono in Mikawa Province, and 1st daimyō of Tanoguchi Domain in Shinano Province. He served in the Tokugawa shogunate in the positions of Rōjū and Wakadoshiyori, and became a leader in the Meiji government following the Meiji Restoration as a politician.
