About Matias Romero Avendano
Matías Romero is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. It is named after Mexican politician and diplomat Matías Romero Avendaño. The municipality covers an area of 1,459. 54 km². It is part of the Juchitán District in the west of the Istmo de Tehuantepec region.
