Mary Leela Rao

Mary Leela Rao is an Indian sprint athlete who participated in the 1956 Summer Olympics. She was the first female Olympic athlete from India. Rao could not complete the qualifying race for the 100 meters, and was eliminated from further competition. Rao's best time in the 100 meter sprint was 12. 4 seconds, in 1956.
