Mary ainsworth attended the university of toronto and received her bachelor s degree in 1935.She then went on to receive her master s degree in 1937 and her doctorate in 1939.She was a professor of pscyhology at the university of virginia from 1945 to 1948 and hten at the university of wisconsin from 1948 to 1952.She was also a professor at johns hopkins univesrity from 1952 to 1967.
