A Man forced to quit work because of Lyme Disease , hopes the pop star Justin Bieber , the shot he has, it is an awareness of the condition.

Mark Morgan , from Cardiff, said, the Disease is so debilitating he can't work any more, because the "constant symptoms of anxiety and fatigue".

There are approximately 3,000 cases of Lyme Disease - a bacterial infection spread by ticks, which is held every year in the UK.

Ex-engineer Mr Morgan said the people understand its lasting impact.

He has the symptoms experienced due could be Lyme Disease since puberty.

The 54-year-old said it was "always difficult" a job, as he was older because of the long-term effects of the Disease , and in 2015 he had to stop working completely.

He said, people often understand that his symptoms of fatigue and anxiety are severe.

"people often remark that I look OK, but I don't feel OK," said Mr. Morgan said.

He said he was "very pleased", The Diagnosis was made redundant after his illness, the doctors, but he did not know how to treat severe the condition is.

"people need to understand that it is a serious, potentially long-term condition. The symptoms are terrible," he said.

"people need to take precautions to not be bitten by ticks and, if you are bitten, seek immediate medical treatment. "

Earlier this month, pop star Justin Bieber , he had been living with Lyme Disease for what he described as a "rough few years".

The Canadians took to share to Instagram, that he suffered from a chronic infection after speculation that he had a problem with a drug.

A spokeswoman for the charity Caudwell LymeCo said the news of Bieber's shows, the Disease really can affect anyone", and hoped that his announcement "will reach a new audience that might be suffering similar symptoms without the cause."
