Mark Hanna Crouter Life story
Mark Hanna Crouter was born on 3 October 1897 in Baker, Oregon. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy on 7 June 1919. After extensive service at sea and ashore, he served as executive officer on the heavy cruiser USS San Francisco. He was killed in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.
