Marie Sterner Life story
Marie Sterner (1880-1953) was an art dealer in New York, New York. She was employed by Knoedler and Co. in 1912 before opening the Marie Sterner Gallery in the early 1920s. Sterner was instrumental in advancing the cause of American artists in the early 20th century.
