About Manuela Malasaña
Manuela Malasaña Oñoro was one of the victims of the uprising against the troops of Napoleon I of France stationed in the Spanish capital during the Peninsular War. She was the daughter of a French baker named Jean Malesange, hispanicized "Malasaña", and his wife Marcela Oñoro.
