Perfectly healthy and incapable of getting sick, William Blood (Kenneth More) loses his job as a medical test subject when he is unable to contract a cold, but he is quickly hired by Professor Davidson (Michael Hordern). Davidson is working on sending the first man to the moon and plans to use Blood to make sure the trip into space is safe for the professional astronauts.
