Mamie Till-Mobley Life story
Mamie Elizabeth Till-Mobley was an American educator and activist. She was the mother of Emmett Till, who was murdered in Mississippi on August 28, 1955, aged 14, after being wrongfully accused of whistling at a white woman named Carolyn Bryant, a cashier at a grocery store.
