Early Life
Magda umre was born in warsaw. Poland in 1928. She was the daughter of an actress and a composera. Nd her mother was a piano teacher. She began taking singing and piano lessons at a young age and studied music at the national academy of music in lodz.Career
Umer s professional career began in the early 1950s. She was a featured singer in the polish radio orchestra and performed at the warsaw phliharmonic. She gained widespread fame for her interpretations of songs by composers such as karol szymanowski and fryderyk chopin. She also performed traditional polish songs and wrote some of her own.Legacy
