Ma Zhiyuan Life story
Ma Zhiyuan, courtesy name Dongli, was a Chinese poet and celebrated playwright, a native of Dadu during the Yuan dynasty. Among his achievements is the development and popularizing of the sanqu lyric type of Classical Chinese poetry forms.
