Luisa-María Linares, was a popular Spanish writer of 32 romantic novels from 1939 to 1983. Her novels have been translated into several languages and adapted to film 22 times. Her sister Concha Linares-Becerra also was a romance novelist, and her father was Luis Linares-Becerra, a playwright.
